The iconic Colonial Mutual Life Building in Martin Place has recently undergone a major refurbishment of the facade, services, ground and lower ground floors to facilitate incoming retail tenants. AJW was engaged to undertake structural modifications, a new Pitt Street facade and upgrade the main electrical services board and mechanaical plant for the building. AJW also built an end of trip facility in the basement. Sections of the site were occupied and continued trading during construction period and the works were managed to minimise the impact on the exisiting tenants within the building.
