The extremely high level of attention to detail and extreme expectations from ALDI were superseded by the project team. Throughout the project there were many operational challenges faced constructing in an existing facility that was operating 7 days a week 21 hours a day. These challenges were always overcome in a professional way with communication always excellent and ALDI staff always feeling that they were fully informed throughout the construction process. Other challenges on site included working with incomplete and inaccurate as built documentation from when the facility was first built in 2000, and only a semi coordinated set of design drawings. This meant that the AJW team had to often redesign elements of the job on the fly and always did so efficiently, effectively and without hesitation. I strongly felt that throughout the project the best interest of ALDI and the sccesful delivery of a high end facility was always the focus, no corners were cut and the result speaks for itself.
